Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the TalkAgent mobile application and related services. By using TalkAgent, you agree to these terms.

The service

TalkAgent provides AI-assisted conversation, speech recognition, translation, speech generation, phrase playback, and language practice. Features and supported language routes may change as providers and quality standards evolve.

Accounts

You may try supported features with an anonymous account. Purchasing points requires a recoverable account. You are responsible for access to your email and store account and for activity performed through your TalkAgent user ID.

Points and purchases

• Points are a limited license to use eligible TalkAgent features. They are not money, cannot be transferred, and have no cash value except where required by law.
• Point packs are one-time in-app purchases. Prices and taxes are shown by the applicable app store before confirmation.
• Points are deducted according to provider usage and the pricing shown in the app. A session may reserve points and reconcile them after usage is measured.
• The low-balance refill option is a reminder and preferred-pack shortcut. It does not charge automatically; every purchase still requires store confirmation.
• Store refund rules apply. Refunded, reversed, disputed, or fraudulent transactions may lead to a point adjustment, account review, or feature restriction.

Acceptable use

You must not abuse provider credentials, evade point metering, automate excessive requests, interfere with the service, impersonate others, violate law, or use TalkAgent to facilitate harm, harassment, fraud, exploitation, or unauthorized surveillance.

Your content

You retain rights in content you provide. You grant us and our processors permission to process it only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. You are responsible for having permission to record or transmit other people's speech where consent is legally required.

Availability and changes

We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, models, language routes, prices, or accounts to maintain security, legal compliance, quality, or service viability. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary disruption.

Disclaimers and liability

TalkAgent is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or perfect translations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using TalkAgent at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, fraud, security threats, or legal requirements. Terms that by nature should survive termination remain effective.
